I grew up in Western Nebraska and finished my high school years in Wyoming. I attended grade school in several Nebraska schools before moving to Pine Bluffs my 8th grade year. I was active in athletics as well as FFA, Honor Society, and Student Council graduating in 2002. I attended University of Mary in Bismarck North Dakota my first year of college and played football and wrestled. Later I transferred to the University of Nebraska at Kearney and was on the wrestling team until an injury sidelined me. Finally I transferred to Chadron State College to finish my degree in education.
Currently I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education with endorsements in health, physical education, and coaching. I was married this summer to Amber Houston who is attending nursing school at University of Nebraska in Scottsbluff. I am anxious to become an integral part of the Garden County Schools faculty and am excited about my move to Oshkosh to begin my teaching and coaching career.
