Women In Science Conference

Bethany, Chelsea, Tori and Amanda

Four female students were selected to attend the Women in Science Conference hosted by University of Nebraska at Lincoln’s Center for Science, Mathematics, and Computer Education.  These ladies learned about the many science careers available to them in the future along with meeting many women already involved in a science career.  College students and faculty members introduced the many departments and degrees currently available at UNL.  During the second day of the conference, the girls visited the St. Elizabeth Regional Health Center in Lincoln.  KOLN-KGIN Tv station followed the girls from station to station in the hospital.  To view the broadcast or to read more about what the girls saw go to  http://www.unl.edu/scimath/ and click on Women in Science under CSMCE Projects.
