The results from the District Music Contest held April 17, in Scottsbluff at WNCC are as follows:  Concert Choir - Superior rating (1); Women’s Choir - Superior rating (1); Men’s Choir - Excellent rating (2);  Crimson & Cream Show Choir - Excellent rating (2).  Both the Men’s Choir & Show Choir were 1 point from a Superior rating.  The next concert is scheduled for May 13 where the Junior High Band and Choir will have the last perfomance for the school year.  For more information, please contact Mr. Mark Wilson at wilsonm@panesu.org

All the English 9 classes are finished reading “Romeo & Juliet” and are now watching the movie by Franco Zefirelli (1968).  The final tests and essay papers will be finished next week.  Our next literary adventure will be the “Odessey”  by Homer.  That should take us up to the last week of school and then we will begin some writing workshops where the students will have to write a poem, lymric, short story and other writing styles.
